Mind-blowing City I have visited ever. Just Amazing â¤ï¸
Amazing looking Cathedral near the train station and downtown
Clean, easy to use ticket machines. Make sure you have cash. Ticket will be cheaper, then to buy by card.
Its fine. Easy enough to get where you need to be
A train station that truly merits its name. It is indeed situated in the center of the city. It acts as a major hub, not only for the Amsterdam region, but for the whole country. Don't miss the amazing sight of thousands of bicycles that are parked up front, the largest bicycle parking that I've seen anywhere.
This place is a station for trains. You can transfer to trams and metros, but also other trains. The station looks nice. It is pretty big. And it has a lot of food. The only thing I don’t like about it, is that it is Amsterdam.
The building was built 1881-1889. Amsterdam Central Station is the city's main public transportation hub. In my opinion one of the most beautiful building in the city. From Schiphol airport to Centraal station is it 15 minutes with train. There are luggage storage . Debit card required. Also you can find inside in building shops , restaurants , toilets , currency exchange.
Busy but brilliant when you walk out of the station.
Amsterdam Centraal Railway Station is one of the best stations I have seen. The concourse is not big but it has plenty of shops and places to eat. There are two main corridors where the shops are located. Plenty of ticket machines around. Main tourist areas are nearby by. Dam Square is only about 10 mins walk. Direct Eurostar Services from here. Train to airport takes only 20 mins. Catch the free ferry from here to go across the water to Amsterdam Nord or ADAM Lookout.
The building is awesome, I think it’s a known thing. I’m writing this review regarding security specifically. I’d like to acknowledge how professional, effective as well as friendly, is the security in this station. I had a very unfortunate situation and police was called immediately. Though it was negligence on my part, I do nevertheless appreciate the quick reaction, the attitude and friendliness of the involved security and police members. All was fine at the end, but it did show how serious they are on keeping the place, and passengers, safe. I recommend you never leave your belongings unattended... not for a min.
It connect all the transport around the Amsterdam. Metro trains trams everything. You’ll have no problem in getting transport means anywhere in Amsterdam. Very well organized. ðŸ‘ðŸ¼ðŸ‘ðŸ¼
Very cool and nice to explore things
Easy to use self serve kiosks and the customer service counter even took the time to correct my screw-up while ordering. Trains literally ran on time ever time I used one. It's a clean and orderly station.
very Good shopping arcade and coffee Shops.
Nice, easy to find way around. Good signage.
An amazing building, architecture excellence which attracts everybody’s attention. Lots of shops are inside this building. This building is the real gateway of Amsterdam. Amsterdam Central railway station is well connected with many European cities.
Main train station in Amsterdam central, you can find train to across the country as well as outside also. Metro station is under the main station c trams are in front and bus station in behind. Interestingly ferry and cruis services are behind the station. This is single place you can find almost all travel options here, and you can reach airport in 15 minutes
This was a fantastic, easy to use station in my time in Amsterdam. It is gorgeous on the outside and clean on the inside. It is easy to navigate. I loved how I could just hop on and get to Belgium with ease.
Cool. Very convenient hub with shops and eateries and connections in all sorts and forms. From trains to major destinations and also on easy walking distance to the city center.
A very organized railway station with all the facilities that such a place should have
Great Architecture. Mix of modern and tradition. Well organized flow of travelling people.
Somewhat empty when we arrived at about 7:00, a little more crowded when we left at about 12:00. It was easy to get around in. Take some euro coins if you need to go to the bathroom.
Beautiful architecture on the exterior of this transit hub. There are plenty of signs and screens around the station to help get around. Additionally there are plenty of shops and food places to go to while waiting for your train, including a AH togo the whole place was clean and modern. However, there was a line for the restrooms, and they cost money. There was also plenty of bike parking racks that are cool to look at.There are high speed trains including Thalys and Eurostar, as well as local and regional trains. There are several metro lines right below the station and several trams outside. You can also get catch busses, taxis, and the free ferry (in the back).
A pretty easy station to navigate, with a good selection of shops and restaurants inside. It's walking distance to many central Amsterdam hotels, but if not for yours then taxi, ride share, and tram are all readily available.
Very good architecture easy Togo every where possible
The starting point for the best city of the world
one of the best transport hubs. super convenient for travelers and has everything you could expect. Easy access, ease of communication.
The Amsterdam central station like a museum building. Elegant and has beautiful view from all directions. Inside the buildings, it’s also quite amazing. There is also an royal lobby on platform 1.
There are lots of shops in the station. You can take train, bus, tram, metro here. If you would like to take a ferry or rent a bicycle, you can find them very easily. If you would like a cup of coffee, there are Starbucks also. We bought lots of souvenirs here like cheese or a magnetic souvenirs of Iamsterdam.
Very convenient station with lots and lots of stores ans eating places. All facilities are available here, easy transfers for bus, train, tram, metro, ferry. Ample parking, you can spend an entire day here exploring shops, cafe's and stores!
If you like bikes, this is the place to go.
This is the central station of Amsterdam. The train starts from here for the airport. There is a nice market nearby!
Heart of Amsterdam, near Royal palace, busiest market, museum of madam Tussaud, many hotels for comfortable stay and restaurants available for delicious food, shopping area, several opportunities for photography, well crowded with tourists from around the globe, I recommend to visit.
Unnecessarily unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Not very thought through accessibility layout. Good selection of shops and a few restaurants.
The must organized train station
Current construction around the station are soo bad- endless detours and you’ll miss your train if you’d normally just make it! The walkways could have been done much better.
Large train station in an amazing Old building. Plenty of ticket machines to be able to purchase Amsterdam travel passes. Very busy station with plenty of people coming and going. Good location to central Amsterdam.
Great architecture of building. Great shopping And easy to use train ticket machines. Main line trains as well as local metro trains boarded here. Easy to pop across to another town like Rotterdam and experience the rest of Holland, then still get back for dinner.
Amsterdam Centraal is a brilliant transport hub. Location is great only a couple of minutes walk to city. Catch bus, train and ferry here. Connect to airport also. Clean and well designed for easy access for travellers with luggage. Signage easy to understand.
Well organized. Good signings. In the middle of town.
A crazy train station but everyone is usually nice to tourists
A busy central station, you will ease to get lost inside the terminal. Focus on platform which is your train depart. Information counter are limited but officer are helpful
A absolutely beautiful place, great transportation. Not the most practical though and the stores inside are pretty lack-luster. It’s worth the visit though.
Very nice bright open shopping area and transport links
Large, well managed and clean
Beautiful 19th century Renaissance Revival architecture and a major transport hub. Well maintained, clean, easy to navigate, and very well located in the heart of Amsterdam. Lockers for storing luggage available.
One of the best place in Amsterdam , historical building , amazing construction and almost all trains arrive and go from this station. Biggest landmark in Amsterdam .... and many other famous places around central station. Amsterdam Centraal Station is the largest railway station in Amsterdam in North Holland, Netherlands. A major international railway hub, it is used by 192,000 passengers a day, making it the second busiest railway station in the country after Utrecht Centraal and the most visited Rijksmonument of the Netherlands
This place is both a transport hub and a beautiful tourist attraction. Its design speaks for the Netherlands fantastic designs of just about everything. Inside are shops to help relieve you of your cash. As well as food places to relieve your hunger. Catch a train to the airport from here or step outside for canal tours and bike taxis. You will at some point find yourself here.
